Pharmacy Students Achieve Top Positions in the Undergraduate Research and Innovation Competition
Pharmacy students from the Abu Dhabi campus won first and third places in oral presentations in the Pharmaceutical Sciences category at the 11th Undergraduate Research and Innovation Competition organized by Abu Dhabi University. The first place was secured by students Mariam Al Mohammad and Mais Zourob under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Bostanudin. The third place was secured by students Lana Boustanji and Reem Abdalla under the supervision of Prof. Mohammed Ghattas, Dean of the College of Pharmacy.
Prof. Ghattas said, "We are pleased that Al Ain University students have achieved top positions in this competition, which demonstrates the skills and knowledge our students have acquired, enabling them to work on scientific research that has achieved advanced positions among other research projects, under the supervision of an elite group of professors." He added, "We are keen to encourage students to participate in competitions that support scientific research to enhance their knowledge and prepare a generation equipped with the necessary thinking skills for scientific research, thereby enhancing their contributions to society to drive knowledge-based development."
