Overview

The Department of Private Law is responsible for coordinating, offering, and teaching several courses in the programs offered by the College of Law such as Maritime Law, Intellectual Property Law, Muslim Personal Status Law, and Law of Civil Transactions.

The Department of Private Law is a major component of the College of Law. The Department is composed of highly qualified faculty possessing the competencies to deliver a quality teaching in various fields of private law on both BA and Masters degree. The Department foster research and support its members to ensure their achievements in this field.
