They achieved advanced positions during their participation in presenting their projects in the competition on the 18th IEEE UAE Student Day, under the supervision of a number of faculty members from the College of Engineering.
The team of ‘Software Engineering Project (SEP)’ won first place, by developing a Foodie Mobile and Web Application that is a food waste management app for reducing food waste and contributing to a sustainable future. The project was developed by Zaid Hadya, Bachir Ammar, and Ali Bakr, supervised by Dr. Yazeed Ghadi, Dr. Tarik El Amsy, and Eng. Esra Al Nashash.
