AAU Organizes Talk on Ramadan

The AAU Deanship of Student Affairs in Abu Dhabi campus, in cooperation with the Community Engagement Committee at the College of Law, organized an event to celebrate the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. The talk, attended by faculty, staff, and students, was delivered by Dr. Maher Haswa, faculty member at the AAU College of Law. During the lecture, Dr. Haswa spoke of the virtues of Ramadan as a month to celebrate Quran and as an opportunity for Muslims to strengthen their faith.

Dr. Haswa added that Ramadan is an occasion when the true meanings of compassion and social solidarity show. It is also an opportunity to refine one's personality and skills through practice of piety and will of power. Dr. Haswa concluded the talk with an explanation of the benefits and lessons of fasting as well as essential tips to follow during fasting.
