A Training Workshop on the Fraud Crimes and Electronic Theft
The Human Resources Department –Training and Development Section – at Al Ain Municipality organized a training workshop entitled “Illuminations about the UAE's anti-cyber-crimes law” in collaboration with Al Ain University, presented by Dr. Yousef Nawafleh- Assistant Professor from the College of Law at AAU.
The workshop included several topics about the definition of the cyber-crimes in jurisprudence and law, he divided the cyber-crimes into: fraud and electronic theft, insults and tossing crimes, forgery crimes, illegal entry crimes, electronic terrorism crimes, incitement on debauchery crimes, crimes of human organs trade, crimes of tampering on security of the state, and the crimes of falsifying medical reports electronically.
Dr. Nawafleh also talked about the reasons of the cyber-crime in the community and how to detect them, the international cooperation on cyber-crimes, target groups of cybercrime, in addition to the compensation for those crimes.
At the end of the training workshop, it was open for discussions, inquiries and questions. It is worth to mention that the workshop achieved success and got audience admiration.
