Al Ain University Organizes a Training Program for High School Students at the College of Pharmacy

The College of Pharmacy at Al Ain University, at its Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses, organized a distinctive training program targeting 11th and 12th-grade students aimed at enhancing their knowledge and developing their skills in various scientific fields.

The training program spanned two weeks, during which students participated in specialized laboratory activities, including pharmaceutical analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutics, microbiology, molecular modeling, and research laboratories. Additionally, they had the opportunity to visit the virtual pharmacy.

Moreover, the students were given a comprehensive tour of the university, including its colleges, facilities, and services, providing them with a firsthand experience of the university environment.

Prof. Mohamed Ghatas, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, emphasized that such training programs serve as an ideal platform for students interested in the field of pharmacy and those keen to explore the world of pharmaceuticals, nutrition, and healthy living. He highlighted that the program aims to enhance the academic and educational skills of participants, particularly those aspiring to pursue a future in pharmacy studies.
