Al Ain University Celebrates Dean’s List Students for the Second Semester of 2023-2024

In line with its commitment to supporting and encouraging academic excellence, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, at both its Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses, organized a special ceremony to honor students on the Honor List for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

The ceremony at the Al Ain campus was attended by Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, President of the University, and Prof. Ibtehal Abu Rezeq, Vice President for Development and Follow-up and Dean of Student Affairs. At the Abu Dhabi campus, Prof. Amer Qasem, Vice President of the University, was present. The ceremony in both locations was also attended by a large number of faculty members, as well as the parents of the distinguished students who expressed pride in their children and their achievements.

The AAU President congratulated the distinguished students and their families, emphasizing that this ceremony is one of the most significant events organized by the university, reflecting its keen interest in supporting and nurturing outstanding students, who are considered the true wealth of the nation. It also serves as recognition and appreciation for their efforts throughout the year and as motivation for other students to strive in their studies.

El Refae encouraged students to continue their efforts to maintain their excellence, stressing that achieving distinction requires sustained effort and hard work. He also praised the role of parents in supporting students and providing an environment conducive to creativity and diligence.

The Vice President of the AAU (Abu Dhabi campus) noted that this ceremony is one of the most important events the university organizes, highlighting its strong commitment to supporting and nurturing outstanding students as the true wealth of the nation. It is also held to appreciate their year-long efforts and motivate other students to excel in their studies.

One of the honored students, Khaled Mohamed, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, saying, "This recognition is an additional incentive for me to continue striving for more success." His colleague, Fatima Al Kaabi, added that the university's support played a significant role in achieving this milestone.

This ceremony is part of a series of events organized by the university to support and encourage students to excel and innovate as part of its commitment to its vision of building an aware and qualified generation that will actively contribute to serving the community.
