Awareness lecture about the clinical specialist
As part of a clinical psychology course, the College of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences welcomed Dr. Lina Ashour, an associate professor of psychological counseling and psychotherapist from Philadelphia University in Amman, Jordan, as a guest speaker. The aim of the session was to help students identify the qualities required for a successful clinical specialist. During the session, Dr. Ashour conducted interviews with applied psychology students and responded to their queries about the profession of a clinical specialist, including their therapeutic skills, training, and professional licenses.
At the end of the session, Dr. Ashour provided valuable advice to the students, which they could benefit from both during their studies and after graduation.
