AAU Students won First and Second Place in the Undergraduate research competition

Sara Ibrahim (Student – College of Pharmacy) won the 1st place for the best research in “Public Health Category” at “2019 Abu Dhabi University Undergraduate Research Competition”. The research, supervised by Dr. Nadia Hussain, is entitled “Screening for Generalized Anxiety Disorder in Health Profession Students”. Also, Wafaa Al Shamsi (Student - College of Education, Humanitites and Social Sciences) won the 2nd place for her research "The factors causing divorce in Al Ain city from the viewpoint of divorced men and women".

AAU Chancellor (Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh) met the student, acknowledged her efforts and encouraged her for more achievements in the scientific research.

For his part, Dr. Khairi Mustafa, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, expressed his pride about the student, stressing on the interest of the Pharmacy College to provide continuous support to students.

Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President met students Wafa, honored her and expressed his pride of her efforts to conduct the research.

Al Ain University is encouraging the students to participate in the national competitions and conferences, to give them chance to acquire and exchange experiences with various institutions.
